On March 17, 2022, COERR and Enfants du Mekong staff accompanied the Sponsor to visit a girl scholar in Ban Thai Samakki Village, Tapraya District, Sra Kaew Province.

   Child sponsorship program was initiated by Enfants du Mekong and COERR since 2005. So far, the program has been active in Sa Kaew Province with 129 beneficiaries, Surin Province with 26 beneficiaries and Mae Hon Son Province with 29 beneficiaries.

Assistance to Home Isolation Scholars

   In the midst of on-going Covid-19 pandemic, one out of five schools in Surin Province where students under Enfants du Mekong sponsorship program are studying is Rundeng School in Prasat district. 10 student scholars and teachers in Ban Rundeng School organized a One Baht Daily Saving Project for Common Good. In March, the collected contribution was spent on food and needy supplies for the scholars under Enfants du Mekong and COERR sponsorship program, who were self-isolating at home.
